Group Meeting Discussion

  • Redesigning Maze Tunnels - Feedback received from prior testing concluded that the maze tunnels were hard to follow and can cause the player to get stuck with created blockout

Level Design

This week on level design, I worked on;

  • Lightmaps - Adjusting lightmaps across the level

  • Remade Maze Tunnels - This was made to fix collisions with the player and potentially AI enemy within these tunnels!

UI Design/Scripting

  • Main Menu - At this point, I needed to start adding the UI Designs to the project so I started with the more obvious choice which was the Main Menu

Games Scripting completed list

  • Basement Door - Added Door Banging to discourage players to open the door

  • Door closing behind you - this allows level streaming to work better

  • Maze Puzzle Script - Moved to Persistent Level

  • Elevator Lift and Door - Used for the heavy box to be lifted upstairs

  • Testing Respawn Blueprint - This blueprint wasn't tested fully so I had seen what can fix it
