Research and Concepts

In terms of research, I checked out Interface In Games for some guidance on how UI is dealt in horror game menus. I found that it was important to use contrasting colours in these menus and with use of concept art made by the artists in my team. I was able to make a colour palette to fit the art style

Prototyping

I tested the UI through prototyping on Adobe XD and then in Unreal Engine 4. However, I will only be showcasing the UE4 version but if you are interested in how I prototyped in Adobe XD then you should check out my weekly blogs
