Week 6 - Expanding the Level

This week, I decided to try and add new areas to the level as it seemed to be very bland because there wasn't a variety of different places to attack towards. Before I went back into photoshop and start expanding the map, I started idea-generating of areas that would be common in a zombie apocalypse. Here is a screenshot of what I came up with!

Feedback
I gathered feedback from my group as they are very genuine on what is good and bad about the design level.
Positives
Sizes of outposts and city roads are consistent
Variation of different areas
Negatives
Forest roads are too big and unnatural
There isn't a legend displayed
There should be only one police station
Airport and Army base shouldn't be so close together
After feedback, it is clear that I have to work on the level a bit more which is fine by me however, I will be working towards UI wireframes for the pitch next week so I will give a small update on the level design on what has changed.
